Though small by comparison to Gulf markets, the Jordanian car market is arguably the most relevant for the E-tron, given the substantial tax breaks and popularity of EVs in non-oil producing Jordan, where fuel prices are comparatively high, and where up-market EVs spend most of their time in a slower urban environment that they are most suited for in terms of range and efficiency.
One of the most impressively practical and well-rounded EVs around, the Audi E-tron might not sell as many vehicles in Jordan as in the Gulf, but it should be able to claim a more substantial percentage given its competitive pricing and, and judging by the long-established popularity of premium EV competitors from Tesla.
While the E-tron’s success will obviously hinge on how the auto market recovers in the wake of Covid-19, but given the opportunity, the E-tron could well be the next big thing in more affluent parts of Amman.

6 July 2020, Amman, Jordan – The first fully electric vehicle from Audi is available at Audi Center Jordan, Nuqul Automotive. The Audi e-tron creates a sense of agility with its combination of electric drive and a comfortable, sophisticated interior.
Two electric motors drive the Audi e-tron powerfully. The start-off performance is similar to that of a sports car. The new electric all-wheel drive system provide for optimal traction and handling in all driving situations and the adaptive air suspension with damper control adapts to any road surface, ensuring every driving mode is an absolute pleasure. The Audi e-tron is not only practical for everyday use, but also very maneuverable and agile when driving off-road. Equipped with quattro, the e-tron is capable to drive on any terrain.
Design and technology are combined into one: generous arc, the wraparound, envelops the cascading instrument panel with pronounced horizontal lines as far round as the sculptural door trims. In addition to its spaciousness, the standard of comfort and convenience of the Audi e-tron is what you would expect from a typical full-size model of the brand. The panoramic glass sunroof keeps the interior even lighter and intensifies the impression of airiness and space. The Audi e-tron comes as a standard in our region with the four-zone automatic air conditioning and an optional air quality package. The latter maintains first-class air quality by means of an ionizer and aromatization, the intensity of which can be adjusted over several levels. The air quality sensor also detects harmful gases and activates recirculated air mode as necessary.
Audi offers various solutions for charging at home. Combined with a home energy management system, it offers intelligent functions such as charging with solar electricity if the home is equipped with a photovoltaic system.
There is generally no need to stop at charging stations during every day driving. On long trips, such as when going on vacation, customers can use fast charging stations to charge.
